Decision tree for using a QR code
I feel like the QR code is the litmus test for whether your ‘digital experts’ are actually digital experts.
(Although, I have seen some data that suggests that they work in a few specific situations.)
Pretty perfect.
Should be a law.
Startup adventures abound!: Why Dave McClure is wrong about MBAs in startups (sorta) -
Sales. Not product management. Not product development. Not UX. Sales. This is what a good MBA program should teach you. It should teach you how to cold-email. How to cold-call. How to choke back on a sale in order to increase the likelihood of it going through.
Yes. One hundred percent. Yes.
Forecast: Announcing Forecast -
We’re extremely excited to announce the launch of Forecast, a new global weather service.
About a year ago, we released a little app for the iPhone and iPad called Dark Sky, attempting to do something new and interesting for weather forecasting, a field we think had become pretty stagnant….
Love the innovation that came out of creating Dark Sky. It’s a beautiful creation.

Haven’t tried the iOS versions just yet, but absolutely love this app for the Mac. As a kid, I remember sitting in the car around the top-of-the-hour and waiting for my dad to turn on the radio for the news updates. This is that, but from a wide variety of sources (NPR, BBC, ESPN, etc) and always right there on your desktop. Brilliant idea.
Downloaded this app this morning. Love it.
Behind the scenes with the Bucks.
Happy 204th Birthday, Abraham Lincoln!
Abe wasn’t talking about inbox zero, but he might as well of been.
Startup adventures abound!: We're not crushing it -
I want us to go into work everyday thinking we need to bond together to get that tough win. I don’t want anyone on my team for a moment to think that we’re crushing it
Well said.
